how I started
Wedding photographer
I didn’t start photography for weddings. My first experience with professional photography was when I created product images for my website dedicated to Italy. I spent 7 years in Italy. Italians are very fond of great design – it’s visible in architecture, fashion, and basically everywhere. If you spend some time there, it becomes a part of your subconscious. Today, I see how much it has influenced my work. That is why it is so original in Central Europe.

NOWHERE ELSE DOES A PHOTOGRAPHER FIND SO MUCH AUTHENTIC, INTENSE EMOTION IN ONE PLACE AND ON ONE DAY AS AT A WEDDING.
Capturing the emotion, authentic emotion, is one of the most challenging disciplines in art. If you succeed, you will create a masterpiece. If you fail, it comes out kitsch. When it succeeds, it sends chills down the spine of even the toughest of tough guys. If you don’t, you’ll fall into oblivion. That’s why emotions are a challenge. And I am not one of those to back down from challenges.
How I’m doing? Judge for yourself. Some of the photos make shivers run up and down my own back. Because I remember every client.
I speak Italian and English and can also speak German and French. So you don’t have to worry about me not getting along with your foreign guests.

I will capture your life moments in an original and new way. There is a piece of art and creative overlap in each of my photos. I’m not too fond of the macho poses. I know that kitsch doesn’t move anyone and makes everyone laugh. A themed shoot is fine as long as it keeps the person’s personality. That takes a lot of creativity, and that’s a challenge.
I take care of each customer individually. I want to meet you, spend some time with you, take photographs of precisely who you are, and capture real people with genuine emotions in the pictures. I’ll be happy to come to your home to make you feel as comfortable as possible so that the photos gain authenticity. It’s up to you.

I don’t just take pictures for a living. The video is only one step further. I also shoot wedding videos, music videos, and commercials. Video is a bit more of a challenge than photography. You can work not only with images but also with music and spoken word. Emotional music will tingle your back, even in an uninteresting product video. But those are cheap tingles. I don’t care about them. They run, they disappear, and nobody remembers them. They won’t stay with you.

I was led to video first by Italy (video recipes, travel guide) and later by my husband, David. He made music videos with the band Aura; who else should make them for him but me. He obviously chose well. With the video clip Judge Time, we are ranked 2nd spot in the national round of the Czech Vision Film Festival.

In 2021 I graduated from the Liberec School of Photography and Graphic Arts. The study gave me a great foundation and directed me further.
As well as other retraining courses I’ve taken. Today I like to return to the Liberec school. I have a lot of friends here. In 2022, I am also here for students to organize a wedding photography workshop. In 2021, I am she entered the ITF art college in Opava. I’m happy to study here and learn from such luminaries as Vladimir Birgus, Roman Vondrouš (multiple winner of Czech Press Photo and WPF), Pavel Mára, Stephanie Stein and many others. In addition, we are working on some fantastic projects within the studio.

BESIDES MY CHILDREN AND HUSBAND, I FIND INSPIRATION IN CLASSICAL MUSIC, JAZZ, VISUAL ART, AND THE WORKS OF THE OLD MASTERS.
We spend evenings and days at home working on our art. But not only that. We’re the parents of two great boys. As is the case with children, they are both an endless well of inspiration and an insurmountable obstacle to implementing ideas.
Besides my children and husband, I find inspiration in classical music, jazz, visual art, and the works of the old masters. Baroque gave the world a chiaroscuro, without which I cannot imagine my work today. Modern art shows me how to work with color and create abstract compositions. Black and white photography is a classic that sometimes says more than a whole palette of colors.
my achievements
My wedding photos were among the top 20 in the ISPW international competition.
I have been a member of the APF (Association of Professional Photographers) since 2022.
Some of my photographs are in the magazines FotoVideo, Czechoslovak Photography and Digital Photography.
In 2020 I won international awards for fine art portraiture in three competitions.
