What is the price for wedding photography?

Over the years, I have learned that every wedding is completely different and every couple has other wants and needs. For this reason, I offer an individual price calculation tailored to each individual. The price depends on the distance (I shoot all over Europe), the length of the photographer’s services, exclusive requests such as photography outside the wedding day and more. I always work with my assistent. Introductory prices start at 25k for photography or video services.

How does booking a date work?

For me to book your wedding date, you need to sign a booking contract, which includes all the terms and conditions. You will pay a deposit of 30 % of the total amount. You will spend the rest of the price on the day or the day after the wedding.

How long will we wait for the photos?

I take great care in editing your pictures. I carefully sift through all the shots and select only the best ones that best capture your wedding day. I prefer quality over quantity. I take some photos deliberately, knowing what style I will use to edit them. Sometimes it can take up to an hour to edit one shot if it’s an artistic portrait. I don’t use any presets to speed up editing. That’s because I approach every wedding individually. I edit each one so that the colors best suit the colors of the wedding. I don’t want all the wedding shots to look like a cliche with an orange filter. And at the end, I also retouch every single photo. In addition to the reportage photos from your wedding, I want you to have pictures that you will proudly hang on your wall. Therefore, I expect to deliver the images within 10-12 weeks. I can adjust them earlier if I don’t have a busy season. I often send brides a few photos for their enjoyment before the date. Since I like the color and a black and white photograph, which has its unique charm and can enhance the atmosphere, I send a mix of both variants. Depending on which variant suits the photo better.

What technique do you use?

A good photo can be taken with a mobile phone. The solution never lies in the resolution. The technique is not the key; the most important thing is the aesthetic or emotional aspect of the image. However, I use Nikon professional equipment (full-frame Z6 series), highlight lenses from Sigma, and manual and art lenses. I shoot with two bodies and always have spare batteries, memory cards, and regularly serviced equipment to maintain full functionality. I shoot exclusively with my assistant, so I provide additional data backup and more variety of images in your portfolio.

How many photos will we get?

I don’t have a fixed number of photos submitted from the wedding day. I always select the best and strive for the most diverse portfolio of photographs that includes artistic portraits, snapshots, emotions, and highlights of the wedding day. On average, you can expect to take at least 300-500 photos in a day’s shooting.

We don’t like being on camera

Believe me, only some people are comfortable in front of a camera. I can work with that. We’ll talk during the wedding day. You’ll find that you’ll relax in the presence of your partner without even knowing how. Let’s take a walk together and take some natural snapshots. I don’t want people to look into the lens and smile on command. Instead, we talk like old acquaintances, which always comes naturally.

What can we find in a wedding movie?

Filming a wedding is storytelling. Like in a movie, I have a preliminary script, and I shoot it in a way that makes it impressive. I choose the best moments of the wedding day and compose them into a short film. It takes about 5-10 minutes. It is an ideal length that you will be happy to watch repeatedly and will also fit the most critical moments. I use more cameras, additional lights, and also microphones when shooting. That’s why my films contain quality spoken words, giving your movie a genuine atmosphere. For the background music of the shots, I choose from the database of songs that best represent the atmosphere of your wedding. I purchase all the pieces from audio banks; your video includes copyright. My videos include original editing; nobody wants the same video as everyone else. And so does the post process, which provides for color-grading (color and light treatment of the video) to enhance its visual form. Such a process takes twice as long as the video itself.

Do you also offer a wedding video?

Yes, I also offer a wedding film service. Video preserves the most beautiful memories of your wedding day much better than photographs alone. Emotions are vivid and unrepeatable. You can still keep back in your memories while watching a video. The videos have a fantastic atmosphere that accompanies your entire wedding day. I am happy to listen to all your ideas and tailor the shoot to your needs. I will gladly discuss all the details in a personal meeting with you.

What if we want a photo + video service?

However, if you are interested in both services – shooting and filming – I work in a team with either a fellow photographer or a videographer. I never do both services at the same time on the wedding day. I pride myself on maintaining the high quality of the final product.

We don’t want to take photos/shoots for a long time

That’s perfectly fine. You have had a wedding once, and your friends and family have come to you from afar to enjoy the wedding day with you. You can either take advantage of a photo shoot/shoot outside of the wedding day, or we can agree on when it would be ideal to sneak away for a while during the wedding. I often split the shoot into two shorter sections, so you don’t miss out for long. It’s usually ideal for shooting before/after the ceremony and then toward the evening when the soft light is beautiful. For each photo shoot, even 30 minutes is enough. Sometimes the light is perfect at a given moment, and if you want, we can “run off” together for a few shots, maybe just for a few minutes.

Do you also do couple shoots/videos?

Yes, of course, I also offer pre-wedding photo shoots. Classic lifestyle shoots are popular at your partner’s home, nature, or dream location. Do you want to take photos in the mountains, by the sea or in a historic town in Italy? I will be happy to fulfill your wishes. Pre-wedding video is also a big trend lately. You can use it as an original invitation and add it right away on social networks or your wedding website. Watch a sample here.

What kind of background music do you use?

As standard, I work with two audio banks, where I buy the copyrights to all the songs I use as part of my subscription. But I’m also happy to offer you the unique opportunity to have customized original music. My husband is a professional musician and will be glad to compose a custom song for you. See his work. See his work.

How long does it take to make a wedding film?

It’s a story that takes shape in the creator’s mind and ends with a post-process in the computer. I’ll meet you before filming and discuss all the details about your wedding and schedule. On the wedding day, I arrive at the place earlier so I can plan all the filming. Thanks to our meeting, I already have a preliminary idea of what a wedding film might look like. The whole process begins with the actual shooting on the wedding day. You must find the perfect combination of songs, go through all the shots repeatedly, and start composing the story in the editing room. Once the rough cut is done, I also begin working with effects, lettering, spoken word, music, and, most importantly, letting the whole idea sit for a while. This system guarantees the quality of the output, which also applies to photography. This is followed by tuning the cut and, finally, color grading. Each individual shot is adjusted separately. Lights, shadows, color tones. Finally, the details are fine-tuned, and it’s done! So imagine two to three months of work.

What are the shots outside of the wedding day?

It will enrich your wedding film. It creates a unique story and atmosphere. Among other things, if we take the classic couple shots in wedding attire beforehand, we no longer have to shoot them during the wedding. This saves time during the wedding day and allows you to focus on your guests. However, if you choose the lifestyle shots option, you will have a unique film about the two of you. We’ll go for a walk to places you like to go together, we can be at your home to capture natural moments, or you can set your story in another setting you want to visit (for example, you share a hobby, etc.). It’s up to you, and I’ll be happy to help you. Watch a sample.
